1. Henry David Thoreau (July 12, 1817 – May 6, 1862) was an American author, poet, philosopher, naturalist, development critic, historian, transcendentalist and so much more. On July 4, 1845 Thoreau embarked on a two-year experiment in simple living ,  he moved to a small, self-built house on land owned by Emerson around the shores of Walden Pond.

His book has inspired many to retire to a lonely spot seeking solitude, peace, creativity, and nature.

2. Primeval Symbiosis (Single Pole House) byKonrad Wójcik

Primeval Symbiosis (Single Pole House) is an architectural design project by Konrad Wójcik an Architecture student that seeks to organically install living spaces in forests without disrupting the innate beauty of nature. For time reference and comparison, this project was entered into the Natural Systems 2013 international architectural design competition in New York.
