After purchasing a piece of land with a small old building on it, the couple, a banker and an antique book collector, decided to inspect their purchase and began stripping away the yellow paint on the walls only to find valuable Vilnius bricks. They later discovered that building was originally a cannon foundry. To preserve this piece of history they decided to build around it using glass to show off this unique feature. Architectural Bureau G.Natkevicius & Partners designed this wonderful creation seen below.
